Almost all sectors, such as industry, education, health, transportation, communication, and trade, are increasingly evolving from this electronic technology. Digital transformation also provides many benefits for human life. Electronic equipment manufacturers are also competing to increase their production. This technological change is also included in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Technologies in the industrial
revolution 4.0 era include artificial intelligence, big data, financial technology, and robotics. This industrial revolution is also called the digital revolution because it is accompanied by computerization and automation technology. However, the increase in consumption of electronic devices has also given rise to environmental problems in the form of increasing electronic waste (e-waste) (Mohajan, 2025). The rapid development of electronic and communication technology has resulted in a large amount of electronic waste that must be managed seriously, including recycling.
